Beige pre-pasted baroque wallpaper DM4903, Damask, York
The Damask collection of pre-pasted and paper wallpapers is full of luxurious ornamental designs inspired by natural motifs.
Damask, originally a jacquard fabric that settled in Europe, especially in Italy and England, as early as the 14th century, is still very popular.
The print of this fabric is often used in the wallpaper industry, and as the most elegant constant of classic design, it continues to influence trends and inspire ideals of beauty in modern luxury interiors.
Pre-pasted wallpaper: the back of the wallpaper is factory-applied with a layer of adhesive that is activated by applying water to the back of the wallpaper, e.g. with a spray bottle.
Spray the water in long strokes along the length of the wallpaper/strip and make sure you thoroughly wet the entire back of the wallpaper, paying close attention to the edges. Fold each end of the wetted strip towards the centre, gluing the sides together and aligning the edges carefully so they don't dry out. Avoid creasing the paper. Leave folded for 3 minutes to allow the glue to activate and the paper to moisten. It is advisable to use a primer to each wall before wallpapering. The primer unifies underlayments absorption and increases adhesion of subsequent layers.
