Why choose non-woven wallpapers
- A favourite choice for modern interiors. Non-woven wallpapers are easy to hang because the adhesive is applied directly to the wall, and they allow the walls to breathe. Perfect for bedrooms, living rooms or home offices. The main advantage? They can be removed easily while keeping the walls beautiful. A practical step-by-step guide can be found in our wallpapering instructions.
- Tip before wallpapering: Walls must be smooth, dry and clean. Fill any cracks, apply primer, keep the temperature around 20 °C, avoid ventilation for at least 48 hours and always check the batch number (Batch No.).
- There are two main patterns in the collection. The first is hexagon, which is increasingly popular as an furnishings motif. But it is not a hypermodern and depersonalized matter. This pattern was used already hundred years ago, so we can talk about a retro touch. The second motif is represented by writings, their main information is the course of time: presence - today, past - yesterday, future - tomorrow, always ... never. Time is the only thing we lack today and cannot be sold or bought. Colours are very miscellaneous. They are designed to be chosen by anyone. Includes warm, distinctive red-orange combination, an ageless duo of white and black or silver-gray variations. We can also find fine beige in combination with a modern metallic copper shade and a pleasant green complemented by a golden-brass shade. Very interesting combinations include a shade of tea rose (light pink) with gold. It is also worth mentioned that the gentle Rose (Rose Quartz) became the color of 2016 according to Pantone and the gold was declared the color of the year by Akzo Nobel (the leading manufacturer of paints and coatings). So we can say without any doubts that the current world trends are reflected in this collection. Iva Bastlová is an interior designer and author of this collection. “I wanted to create a collection that doesn't play anything, is first-rate and yet affordable. Does not want to shock, wants to live with you, decorate and make home more comfortable ”she says. Important are the possibilities to coordinate individual patterns and especially combining them with various contemporary interior furnishings.
- Non-woven wallpapers are characterized by a good breathability, mechanical resistance and the ability to cover fine cracks. Wall thicknesses equal to or less than 0.8% is suitable for non woven wall coverings. When pasting vlies wallpapers, the adhesive is applied directly to the underlying wall to which the individual stripes of the wallpaper are applied. For pasting, use a non woven wallpaper adhesive for vlies wallpapers, which can be found in our adhesive range. Removing vlies wallpapers is easy and could be done in a dry condition of the wallpaper.
