Flocked wallpapers

This type of wall covering has a velvet surface and embossed patterns that create a three-dimensional effect and depth perception. They are made from a base layer of paper or non-woven material and a layer of textile fibers that are attached to it by electrostatic force. Flocked wallpaper emerged as an imitation of velvet curtains in the late 17th and early 18th centuries and has since been a symbol of elegance and luxury in interiors.
