Wallpapers, especially those with a pattern, have a set pattern offset, so-called rapport, when the individual strips of wallpaper are glued to the wall. The next strip of wallpaper must always be moved by the specified length so that the pattern follows.

With patterned wallpapers, the repetition of the pattern (rapport) must be taken into account and the consumption may be higher than it may seem. For each product you will find a wallpaper calculator, just enter the wall dimensions in centimetres and you will get the number of rolls you need to order for wallpapering.

Each wallpaper is produced in a specific production cycle, this is indicated by the wallpaper batch marking (also known as Batch. No). So if you buy a wallpaper at one point in time and order the same wallpaper again after time, they may not be exactly the same if it was produced in another production cycle. It is therefore necessary to know the batch number when ordering further rolls of a given wallpaper. However, you must also take into account that you may not be able to find the same batch after a while. If you stick wallpaper of different batches next to each other and it is obvious because of the different shade, this cannot be accepted as a complaint.

Yes, priming is always recommended. The primer will lock the wall and it will not absorb the adhesive. Otherwise, the wallpaper may not adhere properly to the wall. And there's nothing worse than sticking expensive wallpaper on a wall that hasn't been treated in this way and then it doesn't stick. We recommend investing the few Euros in the primer and not skipping the priming step.

We do not recommend using wallpapers or self-adhesive films outdoors, they are not designed to withstand weather and UV radiation.

We do not recommend using self-adhesive films on the wall, it is suitable for completely smooth surfaces, e.g. for renovating doors, furniture, kitchen doors, etc.

Bathroom renovation can be done with wallpapers with a vinyl surface which is non-absorbent and washable (we refer to it as bathroom/kitchen wallpaper). Moisture does not bother these wallpapers, but direct exposure to water (e.g. in the shower) is not recommended.

If you want to glue the wallpaper to the tiles, we recommend using a repair leveling sealant (you can find it in our offer) and sealing the joints between the tiles with it so that they are not visible under the wallpaper. If you are applying wallpaper to a formica core, it is a good idea to roughen this slightly before installing the wallpaper and clean it well afterwards. In both cases, add a dispersion adhesive (e.g. Herkules) to the wallpaper adhesive so that the wallpaper sticks well.

Yes, you can use wallpaper here too, if you are applying wallpaper to tiles, the same procedure applies as for installing wallpaper in the bathroom on tiles. We just don't recommend using wallpaper behind the cooker due to the high heat and grease which are not good for wallpaper.

We are sorry, but we only offer wallpapering services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
